Binocular deficiencies: The inability of the eyes to work together effectively. This includes poor eye alignment, focusing, movement and fixation.

Crossed eyes (strabismus): A vision condition in which a person cannot align both eyes simultaneously. One or both eyes may turn in, out, or down. Poor eye muscle control usually causes crossed-eyes.
